GRAND STAIRCASE
The staircase featured here is the focal point of the living room and for my clients was of great importance to their design. They had traveled the world and couldn’t imagine their home without an impressive element that served as a transition from the formal living room to the relaxing sitting area on the second floor.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN
This old world timber frame design fulfilled the open plan requested for outdoor entertainment. The clients envisioned an open floor plan designed for large scale entertaining between the outdoor kitchen, the hot tub and the bar. This was satisfied by using a hammerbeam design, which eliminated the need for interior posts thus creating an open space with an abundant view of mortise & tenon joinery.
